Classic Nintendo games as slots

Nintendo has managed to launch a number of classic video game titles over the course of the years, with many being iconic and instantly recognizable to those who have never even played one of them before.

Of course, a lot of this has been down to the characters that have been introduced, with many of them being rather legendary across various forms of entertainment. However, one particular industry where we are yet to truly see them and would undoubtedly be popular for gamers is the iGaming sector and more specifically, the slot game market.

Indeed, we have decided to look at some of the iconic video game franchises to have been associated with Nintendo and decided which of them could be turned into rather popular slot titles.

Pokemon

Perhaps one of the most famous game series of all time, Pokemon is one creation that would certainly have to be considered an incredible addition to the slot game market if a game were to ever be released.

With almost a thousand different Pokemon available to create across a variety of different cities and regions, developers would surely have no problem creating a themed slot based on the story of Ash Ketchum and Pikachu, as well as their friends.

Super Mario

Arguably even bigger than Pokemon, Mario is perhaps the most famous video game character to have ever been created and one that almost everybody in the world will instantly recognise because of his mustache and famous red hat.

The character has been around for decades as has his friends and various different titles have since been created, with each of them proving to be rather successful. This would perhaps suggest that a slot game based on Mario, Bowser, Princess Peach and others would also be well received.

Donkey Kong

Donkey Kong is another character that has become incredibly recognizable all over the world and one that has had its own highly successful game series throughout the years. The ape has been a prominent video game character since the 1980s and to this day remains one of the most popular to have ever existed.

Indeed, like the two other games mentioned above, it would be hard to deny that any slot game that is made that features this particular primate would be anything other than a success, especially as it could provide a level of nostalgia to those who play slots.

Zelda

Widely believed to have been considered one of the greatest video games of all time, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past is one of the top Nintendo titles to have followed Link and his quest to save Princess Zelda.

Indeed, that can form the basis of a slot game quite easily, whilst the classic graphics and themes could easily be adopted by a developer that will provide a top slot game experience!

Conclusion

There is no doubt that the games mentioned above could easily be used to form a number of different slot game titles in the future and developers would be wise to try and cash in on them. However, whether Nintendo wants to allow them to do so is perhaps another thing.
